Well our spring has sprung, it feels like summer here lately. No tradewinds and 86 degrees. I got Keala's pool out for a day of fun with our friend Ava Decker. Levi and Jessica Decker from Worland live here on Maui, so I watched Ava last Saturday and we fingerpainted, had a pool party and lots of snacks. It was a good day :)

Well we made it to the SNOW!! Keala had a blast, as did I , but I can't say the same for Sid. He is used to his surfboard and shorts , and not layer upon layer of clothing, boots, bindings, goggles, gloves, helmet, board, not too mention freezing temps!! All in all it was a good trip till the last couple days when we all came down with a cold :( Keala tried skiing one day and lasted about 30 minutes, she kept saying she wanted to ski, so we tried it out. She enjoyed some days at the daycare while Sid and I took to the slopes. Probably where the sickness came from the germy daycare?? The gondola ride was definitely Keala's favorite part, along with riding the airplane and eating snow. Well here is a peek at our trip..

We got Keala this Strider bike for her birthday. It has no pedals so it teaches her how to balance herself. Our friends Michelle and Marley have had their strider bike for months now and Marley is a pro. We took a cruise on the bike path to the playground last week in between rainstorms and it was such a fun day. Keala did really well and toward the end of the day was coasting down the hills a bit. More practice and more trips to the bike paths and she'll be flying down the hills no doubt!

Swimming class has definitely built Keala's confindence in the water. The water wings help too. I'm so glad she wears them since it builds my confidence in her as well :) The waves are suppose to be very large this week so maybe not the place for her to swim but maybe we will get some awesome footage of surfers. Stay tuned.......
