The Walker

My Baby is growing up so fast! She thinks it's pretty neat to walk around the house now! With help of the walker Grandma got us. It's on the lowest setting and I thought Keala was long, but she still tip toes herself around. She is getting some excersise anyway and every now & then she likes her Johnny Jump Up, so between the two she should build up some leg muscles to support her walking. We're on our way.........

Wyoming

Some of my favorite pics of the trip..

Keala was a pretty good traveler. I think she likes road trippin'! As long as she can break the rules and sit facing forward in her carseat! And have her hippo nearby!

The Wildlife section of the Trading Post in Cooke City. It's all the closer Sid wanted to be to any wildlife I think. I was a bit bummed that we didn't even drive into the park, but with a baby and a cranky boyfriend I think I made a wise choice. Again, there is always next time!

Keala LOVED Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Our first bit of Wildlife on Dead Indian Pass...

The lake day with the kids...

Sid and I on our "first date" since the baby was born... too bad we had to travel to Wyoming to have Grandma babysit for us!

Awww the summertime in Wyoming.... I will have to bring Kaipo next time. It was soo good to come home to the heat! And it was so green there from all the moisture they had recently. Sid was impressed with the motorcycle riding he did with Matt White and Guy Fulfer. He also liked the weather in Worland, a bit better than in Montana at the Cabin. We will have to plan an August trip maybe next time so the Cabin has time to warm up a bit. Overall it was a great trip and I'm glad I made the trip for two weeks. We still missed a few things I wanted to do, like swim in Thermop, but that's always something to do next time. It is such a great place for kids I realized and I'm so excited to bring Kaipo next time. Keala will have a blast too when she is more mobile... which is happening as I type!

And here we are at the Luau that mom put on. It was a great time and good food was enjoyed by all. It was so nice seeing everyone that made it out. Haleigh and Robyn did the Hukilau for our entertainment and the night was really quite perfect. Thanks to Mom who worked so hard to get it all together and for everyone bringing delicious yummy food !

One of our last days there, we drove up to Meadowlark Lake with Janelle and Chris. Sid couldn't resist jumping in the creek. The mountain was as beautiful as ever and the wildflowers were starting to bloom. No fish were biting in the lake, but we enjoyed a picnic lunch and continued up the road a bit to visit Janelle's parents who were camping up there.

On our way home we flew from Billings to Denver and stayed the night. Keala loved our room in Denver. She was crawling all around and pulling herself up on the luggage and the mirrors. She had to give herself kisses too! It was so cute!

Happy Birthday!!
